I worked with Johnanthony and his team on a kitchen and bathroom renovation in my new apartment. Before I even made settlement, Johnanthony toured the apartment with me and took measurements so that he could start to work on a design.

He was able to design me my dream kitchen and really maximize the space in my apartment by removing a wall and relocating some of the electrical. His design gave me an open kitchen with a chef’s island where I can cook while my guests sit across from me. The open concept lets me enjoy views and natural light while I use my kitchen and makes the apartment feel so much newer.

JA Kitchen and Bath also has a great selection of cabinets to choose from! My Ultracraft cabinets and solid brass hardware get compliments whenever I have guests over, and their eye-catching green color is timeless and beautiful. For my backsplash, Johnanthony and his team were able to use tiles I special ordered from abroad, giving me a truly one-of-a-kind kitchen.

In the bathroom, Johnanthony was able to make a small space feel bright and bigger than it really is. He suggested floor-to-ceiling tile, which really catches the light and gives a very European feeling to the bathroom. He was also able to supply me with an Ultracraft cabinet for my bathroom vanity, and we selected a remnant from his stone vendor to make me a custom vanity top that matched my color scheme perfectly.

Overall, I now have my dream home thanks to JA Kitchen and Bath, and I can’t recommend them highly enough for any home project you may have!

I hired JA Kitchen & Bath to remodel my bathroom a couple of months ago, and Johnanthony and his team knocked it out of the park! This was my first time taking on a more extensive home project, so I was initially very nervous, but Johnanthony proved himself to be the gold standard when it comes to contractors. He’s easy to contact and proactively communicates issues/updates. He was super flexible when I changed my mind on fixtures several times and answered my (many) questions about the project. Johnanthony and his team pay incredible attention to detail when it comes to tile and fixture installation, and I relied on Johnanthony’s expertise to guide some of my decisions. I also really appreciated the way he kept my budget in mind when making recommendations and did his best to stick to the budget he outlined at the beginning of the project. My project also came with various logistical challenges (i.e. limited street parking, small workspace, stair climbing, little storage space), and Johnanthony and his team handled everything beautifully. We hired Johnanthony to design our kitchen, and it was the absolute best decision! We had contacted and met with other kitchen designers and after a bad experience, we called JA Kitchen and Bath. My journey from vision to reality was seamless and rewarding. During the design phase, I worked with John and Gina at JA Kitchen and Bath to lay out a floor plan, a blueprint, for my new kitchen. It showed the future arrangement of walls, cabinets, appliances, and other key elements like lighting, windows, and doors. After nearly 40 years, my kitchen was in dire need of an update and modernization.


I found John and Gina to be simply outstanding. Their complementary skill sets ensured the proposed kitchen design fit my budget and timeline, functioned efficiently for the whole family, and allowed me to insert our family “personality” in the form of the cabinet design, colors, and accents like countertops, handles and knobs.

BUILD PHASE


John seamlessly orchestrated every aspect of the build phase as both the general contractor and skilled carpenter, ensuring that every detail came together flawlessly in the end. He carefully coordinated many moving parts to avoid or minimize downtime and added expense. His and his team’s communication skills, cleanliness, attention to detail, and respect for my time, property, and wallet were exceptional.


Our 67-year-old house surprised us a couple of times. Each time, John–”MacGyver”, as I came to call him– carefully assessed the situation and presented me with well-thought-out potential solutions. He outlined the options clearly, weighed the pros and cons, and explained how each choice would affect the project timeline and budget. His communications were relevant, timely, and easy to understand. He always stuck to my original vision and kept my family’s best interests top of mind.
